The Glow

On the morning of August 16, 2020, an unusual weather pattern off the Pacific coast, set off a barrage of lightning strikes in Northern California. The August Lightning Siege ignited 650 wildfires across the dry landscapes of the state, creating the largest wildfire in California history. On September 9, light filtered through smoke, ash, debris and dust, that had blanketed much of Northern California for weeks, created The Glow.
